Logging food shouldn’t feel like data entry.

Photograph what you’re eating and SquadBite works out the macros. Import any recipe from a link. Plan the week, get the grocery list, and keep a small group of people honest about it.

What it does

Six ways to get a meal into the log

Most days you want the fastest one. SquadBite keeps all of them a tap apart instead of burying five behind the one it prefers.

Photo logging

Point the camera at a plate and get a named dish with calories and macros back. Every figure is editable before you save it, and estimates are labelled as estimates.

Recipe import

Paste a link from any recipe site and SquadBite pulls out the ingredients, the steps and the nutrition. Cook times are split into hands-on and total, so an overnight marinade doesn’t read as work.

Weekly planning

Drop recipes into breakfast, lunch and dinner across the week, then let SquadBite roll the whole thing into a grocery list sorted by aisle. Planning and groceries are free, permanently.

Squads

Share the fact you hit your protein, not the number. Squads pass along wins, streaks and shared goals — never your raw macros or your weight.

Adaptive targets

After a few weeks of logging, SquadBite measures what your body actually does with the food and suggests a corrected target. It refuses to guess when it doesn’t have enough data.

Menu scanning

Photograph a restaurant menu and get an estimate for every dish, sorted by how confident the estimate is rather than by whichever number looks lowest.

Pricing

Free is a real tier, not a trial

Logging, planning and the grocery list never expire and never ask for a card. Premium raises the limits on the parts that cost money to run.

Free

$0 /forever

No card, no trial countdown.

  • Unlimited meal, water and weight logging
  • 5 AI photo scans a day
  • 25 recipe imports a week
  • Weekly meal planner and grocery list
  • One squad, up to 4 people
  • One menu scan every 90 days
  • Barcode and nutrition-label scanning
  • Apple Health sync

Limits exist because each scan and import runs a real AI request that costs real money. They are set well above normal use — they are there to stop abuse, not to nudge you into paying. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID and can be cancelled any time in Settings.

Why this exists

“Every tracker I tried made me choose between an honest log and a fast one. So I built the one that doesn’t.”
